Leo District 306 D6 is one of the leading Leo Districts in Sri Lanka, bringing together dynamic Leo Clubs dedicated to community service, leadership development, and youth empowerment.
As the youth arm of Lions Clubs International, our district provides opportunities for young people to develop leadership skills while making a positive difference in society through impactful service projects and collaborative initiatives.
Our Evolution
This remarkable growth is a direct result of decades of strategic redistricting, each change serving to broaden the movement”s reach and deepen its impact. From the initial formation of 306 A, B, and C to the subsequent division into C1 and C2, the movement has consistently adapted to empower more young people through hands-on community service and invaluable leadership training.

At Leo District 306 D6, our journey Beyond the Expected is guided by five strategic pillars that shape every initiative, decision, and service project throughout the Leoistic Year 2026/2027.
1. Administration
Effective administration is the cornerstone of a successful district. This year, we are committed to enhancing organizational excellence through streamlined operations, transparent governance, and strategic planning. A key focus under this pillar is ‘Alpha Club Expansion’, encouraging the establishment of new Leo Clubs and strengthening our district’s presence while ensuring sustainable growth.
2. District Growth
Growth goes beyond numbers and it is about extending opportunities for service and leadership to every corner of our district. We aim to establish and nurture Leoism in emerging communities, ensuring that more young people have the opportunity to become leaders and serve their communities with purpose.
3. Digital Transformation
As digitalization is essential to modern leadership, we are embracing technology to improve communication, collaboration, and efficiency across the district. The introduction of a ‘Centralized Leo Portal’ will provide members with easier access to district resources, announcements, reporting systems, and essential information, creating a more connected and digitally empowered Leo experience.Inspiring the next generation of compassionate global citizens who will continue our mission of service and leadership.
